It's also more of a written error because it sounds so similar, but people use "of" instead of "have" in phrasing like "it could of been." It should be "could have been."
And then there's just the slang "sup?" Short for "Whassup?' Short for "What's up?" which is still annoying, even when completely pronounced. What the hell are you supposed to say to that? "Sky? Tall buildings?" The stock answer is "Not much." Great...let's jump past that into the real conversation.
